Mood Setting Blue
Based on a piece of art the couple collected years ago, this is one of my favorite projects to date. We went moody with Pertola paints roman clay paint In The Navy, which feels buttery and cozy and sleek at the same time. Brass finishes tie in the flecks of gold in the piece, with the Hudson Valley picture light above and, one of my favorite moments of this space, the Kohler faucet from their Components line with an unexpected, sexy rocker knob. Handmade Clare Lane pottery pendants add texture and contrast and their details are so good. We had to use the CB2 mirror backlit, it just works. We went with a dramatic floating sink in quartzite in Fusion Light blue with gorgeous blue/gray veining.
And now for the styling, brass accessories, Custom Fallen Timber stools, I call them Mr and Mrs stools, modeled after French antique stools, the precision to detail is amazing. Jenny Kayne Leather tassel art hung from Kohler towel rack and vintage rug sourced via Bente Vintage, I source all my rugs from Bente.
